Exploring the Village [Open]

... This was a perfect example as to why you didn't piss off a Kane.

Junior raged, and raged hard. He didn't like cowards, and he wasn't going to let Luke escape so easily, or live for that matter. It was quick, likely painful, and the mess it made was a non-issue. Luke was dead, dead in a way that even the most highly skilled of medics couldn't bring back. She had been told before that he had somehow faked his death, or came back from the dead: well, there was no coming back from what Junior did. A fine mist was all that was left of Luke, and even that didn't stick around long - not even making it to the sandy ground.

For the civilians watching it was probably like Luke was there one second and gone the next - most of them would probably never figure out what exactly happened to the guy, outside of the blood Junior was burning away.

Emiko didn't seem angry, though, or perhaps she was hiding it well enough. She told Muninn that he could go, and mentioned something about him being disease free? Whatever that was about. Emiko then wanted herself, Junior, and Ikari to follow her. Were they in trouble anyway? Was she about to yell at them? Emiko wouldn't attack them, that much she already knew. So, if they were about to get told off for what they did then Demi would simply take it in stride and not hold it against the other female. It was odd, though, that they headed toward the Holeman clinic.

Fair enough. Laughing at the younger male's comment, he replied that he was planning on doing it himself before he walked away, content with the information that those barbarians hadn't given him any strange diseases. Honestly, even if he had gotten one he would have taken it in stride. He was lucky to have walked away with his life when faced with those two. Saying farewell, he would dash off at top speed. After all, he had a meeting with the Kuraikage planned.

Holeman and family had seen and heard everything. There was a lot of commotion in the Holeman Clinic & household at the moment because of the actions that had transpired. Many kids were crying in a chorus of wails. Adults were complaining, the curse words coming from their mouths in droves. The rage inside of the establishment was unprecedented. Holeman himself was doing his best to calm them down and ensure that nothing like this would happen again. His mother and sister were constantly asking why he hadn't gone outside and put a stop to things before that big explosion in the sky, and he could only respond with "I didn't want to get involved with those morons from that forest village."

But he was paying for it now, with two hormonal females yelling at him, his brothers, sisters and cousins crying, and many other adults complaining and moaning that they couldn't hear, their sensitive ears boxed by that explosion in the sky. Holeman had to peel himself away from the family to go outside, where everyone was approaching the clinic with Emiko.

Holeman wasn't grinning like he always did. Right now, he was frowning, which was very, VERY rare of him. Holeman stood the same size as Jr; 4 feet tall, meaning he had to look up at everyone. He wasn't your average kid. Holeman was wearing a white wife beater and green ankle length slacks. He had on red fingerless gloves and red sandals. Holeman was very toned and muscular to be such a little guy, having defined arms and legs, looking like a child body builder. He had a red du-rag tied onto his head, situated so that it covered his eyes, but even through it he could be seen frowning. A pair of headphones covered either ear, the top of them down behind his neck.

"What the hell is wrong with you wild animals??" Holeman said. "You morons made all of that noise out here, and now I have to deal with all of that noise in there! Thanks a lot!" Holeman looked up at Emiko. "Emiko, how could you just stand by and let all of this happen?? You were even involved! Marquetta wouldn't have let these idiots get into some wild street fight! Are you prepared for the Holeman Clan to leave Sabaku? Cause that's what's going to happen if this is the kinda stuff that gonna go on!"

It was very rare for Holeman to be raging and yelling like he was, but his family was in a bad mood; his entire family. And when that happened, he was in a bad mood. Holeman looked towards Jr and Demi, pointing an index finger at them. "And you two psychos! I don't want any more parts of your madness! I know we go back, but if it's about to be more of that same old crazy Kane stuff, leave right now!" Holeman then took a fighting stance. "And I know all about that Kane temper of yours too, so rage on me next and i'll have to go explain to Alec why I beat up two of his kids! I'm not scared of either one of you!! Try me if you think i'm bluffing!"

Holeman's muscles seemed to bulge and get bigger as his frown deepened. He was never more serious than he was at that very moment. Even if the big scary looking guy with the sword were to jump in, Holeman was prepared to fight all of them by himself. "What are you waiting for? Bring it on!"

Holeman came outside. Jr grinned and was about to greet him, but Holeman looked angry. This made Jr look surprised, because he'd NEVER seen Holeman angry. Jr was calm at this point, the heat around him gone. "Incredible Hulk" had worn off, meaning he wasn't as strong as he usually was, and he'd have to... chill out, in a sense.

But Holeman was pissed off. Jr suddenly remembered how sensitive the Holeman's were; how finely tuned all of their senses were, mainly their hearing, and slapped his own forehead. He could hear a bunch of kids crying inside the building, and adults complaining and cursing. He was careful not to get any of the villagers involved, but in his madness he'd totally forgotten about the Holemans. Jr started to feel pretty stupid at that moment.

Holeman had every right to be angry. He even yelled at Emiko, asking how she could just stand by and let this all play out, even mentioning how she was involved, saying that someone named Marquetta wouldn't have let things get so far. He even threatened to leave the desert. Jr could do or say nothing, even with Holeman calling him and Demi psychos, and telling them to leave if it was about to be "more of that crazy Kane stuff." If it were anyone else saying these things, Jr surely would have raged, but he didn't, because Holeman was a very important ally to his father, and he wasn't going to come between that.

Next Holeman took a fighting stance and said that if he and Demi raged on him, that he'd beat both of them up then go tell their father he did it, and that he wasn't scared of either of them. Jr believed him. Jr was strong in his own right, but in a serious fight against Holeman, who was defending all of his family, Jr honestly didn't know how he would fare, even with a phoenix spirit sealed inside of him. Jr put his hands up and took a step back.

"Wooah, wooah, Holeman. I'm sorry bro," Jr said, looking defeated. "My anger got the best of me, I forgot. It's been a while. I don't wanna fight you... My bad, bro. Won't happen again, promise..."

Are you prepared for the Holeman Clan to leave Sabaku? The words bounced around in her skill, back and forth. It was one of Emiko's worst unspoken fears. She knew what happened the last time Mitsukai had left a village; she hadn't gone back. She had followed Holeman, as she would forever. So if the Holeman's left, that meant Mitsukai would leave too, which meant that she would no longer see the last family member she had really anything to do with. Not including the fact that Holeman and his family were good people, and friends of hers. It was a devastating thought.

Emiko hadn't even been able to see Junior move, let alone had the speed to stop him. But, that didn't make her any less guilty in the situation. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let it escalate like that. The last thing I want is you and your family to leave.", pain clearly in her voice. It was all she could say; she couldn't rewind time and make it to where things had never happened, and she wasn't going to say that she wasn't fast enough or strong enough to have stopped Junior: Sabure's, even one such as herself, could only go so fast, and Junior had moved much faster.

Holeman seemed prepared to fight Junior, Demi, and the guy they had with them if it came to that but Junior wanted no parts of it as he too apologized. She had a feeling that Demi wouldn't want to fight Holeman either. Emiko didn't want another situation to happen, and was beginning to think that maybe she should go find the Senju and make sure he left the village as soon as possible. She didn't want any of his other people, such as her former squad member, to show up again.

Holeman was pissed off. She had never seen him do anything but smile and grin, but this time around he wasn't. It wiped the smile right off of Demitria's face and had her feeling all kinds of bad. Neither her nor her brother had been willing to let Luke walk away alive, even though Emiko had certainly given him the option. Now Holeman was talking about even leaving Sabakugakure if things continued on like they were.

"Do not react with violence... he's an old friend, he's just angry.", would be the telepathic message she would send Ikari through the cobweb: she didn't want this situation turning out worse than it was, and she had a feeling Ikari would feel honor bound to protect her agaainst the current 'threat' even if Demitria didn't want to see Holeman as such. Like her brother she too held her hands up: she had no interest in fighting Holeman, none at all. "Whoa. Whoa. Listen, I'm sorry too. Emiko gave the guy the option to walk away, but I didn't let him. Don't be angry at her; it's not her fault. She probably couldn't have stopped Junior even if she could have tried. I take responsibility for this. I heard the kind of stuff that guy had done and wanted him dead, my bad, especially since he was sizing me up like the perv he probably was."

She really did feel bad; even the normal psychotic look she had on her face was gone. She had helped to cause trouble for the Holeman's, and that had been the absolute last thing she had wanted. It was definitely something she wasn't going to do again. She had no interests in destroying a friendship with someone who was as good a guy as Holeman was.

Both of the Kane kids were putting their hands up and apologizing. Even Emiko said she was sorry. The big guy didn't say anything. Holeman could hear surprise inside of the house because of the outburst he'd just made. The arguing and crying died out, because most of his family had never seen or heard Holeman angry, truly angry before. There was tension inside of the Holeman household still, but there was mostly surprise.

Holeman stood up straight again, still frowning. He thought he would have to fight 2 of Alec's crazy children, but it seemed like he'd scared them off. Holeman was wondering how they were doing and would have been glad to see them if not for the explosion that scared the bejeesus out of most of his family, sending everyone into a frenzy and a panic. Holeman himself would calm down momentarily, but once his fire got going, it took a while to burn out.

"What do you want?" Holeman asked.

Jr still felt pretty stupid. This wasn't the first impression he wanted to make, after not seeing Holeman or his folks in quite some time. He had the feeling that he wasn't going to be welcome around here for a while. He scratched the back of his head, the drained feeling from using "Incredible Hulk" now gone.

"Um... I just showed up on this continent, looking for the family..." Jr said, looking at the sand beneath his sandals. "When she said she was coming here to see you, I thought i'd tag along... Demi said she had something to show Emiko too..."

He didn't know what else to say.

Neither Junior nor Demi were interested in fighting Holeman, and both seemed to be kicking themselves for upsetting him like they had. Demi even went so far as to place the blame on herself, rather than Emiko. It was true: with how fast Junior had moved she wouldn't have been able to stop him even if she had tried; but she hadn't tried and that was the problem.

Holeman asked what they wanted and Emiko suddenly remembered why she had been seeking Demi and Holeman out, while Junior answered first saying he had just arrived and that he had decided to come to Sabaku with his sister - that she had something she wanted to show Emiko. Emiko wasn't sure what that was but she reached into one of the pouches at her hip and pulled out three sealed vials of blood. "I was on my way over here to give you something, Holeman, and you Demi."

She would hand one vial to Holeman, if he would take it, and then the other two to Demi if she would take them. "Demi, one is your for and the other Dez. What I have given you guys is the blood of a Senju: the Senju who just departed our village in fact. I needed to test his blood for any diseases after he was attacked by a cannibal, and I took a few extra for testing. I figured it might prove interesting to study at the very least.", she spoke in hushed tones, not wanting those who were also on the street to here her. She didn't admit of course how she hadn't told Muninn about this - she considered it payment after all for her saving his life and keeping him from bleeding out.

Demi took the two vials that Emiko was handing to her and looked them over curiously while listening that one was for Destiny. Senju blood. It was rare, definitely, and would be worth a good and long study. She figured maybe even her father would be interested in something like this. Who knew what kind of research she could unearth about this sort of stuff: something that would keep her long and entertained for weeks to come.

"Cool, thanks.", Demi would say while reaching into the bag she carried with her. She would pull from it a scroll that had the technique she wished to pass on to Emiko. "I perfected that technique we were working on, here's your copy.", she would explain.

Finally, Demi would look back towards Holeman, scratching the back of her head. She hadn't expected things to turn out bad like they had, and she was figuring it was probably time to get back home and give Holeman and his people space so they could calm down without the reasons for their rage sticking around. "I suppose we'll get out of your hair.. I'm sorry, again." Demi would turn then, unless something was said to her otherwise, and lead the way back toward the village gates.

Holeman took the vial. Emiko said the blood of a Senju was inside of it. The guy that just left here must have been that Senju. From what he remembered from the old books, Senju had a technique that let them create wood and growth.

The frown disappeared from his face, but he didn't grin. He was calm, but still looked as if something was bothering him. Holeman immediately began to put many scenarios into play on how this DNA material could be utilized.

It was dangerous at the same time though. If the wrong people got their hands on something like this, such as those "Headband" people over in Kurayamigakure, bad things could happen. Holeman would have to store this away somewhere in a place that only he could get to. It was a valuable edition to his already vast collection.

"...Thanks," Holeman said. He looked towards Jr and Demi. "...You two come back in maybe a week or so... Things will be calm by then, and we can catch up proper like."

Holeman went back inside the Holeman Clinic.

Holeman looked to calm down when he was given a vile of the Senju's blood. Jr himself didn't know the whole story behind them, only that they could do things with wood supposedly. Emiko gave one to him and one to Demi, possibly to go give to Dez, or their father.

Holeman told he and Demi to come back in a week, so that they could catch up once the fires died out. Jr didn't want to say anything that would land him in further hot water, so he would just nod his head. After a wave to Emiko, Jr turned to follow after his sister towards the village's exit to head to their new home.

Holeman seemed to calm down fully when Emiko handed him the vial of Senju blood: she figured it was likely his curiosity that was helping to distract him from the rage he had felt moments ago. Emiko still coldn't help but feel terrible over everything that happened, and a little worried too.

Holeman told Junior and Demi to come back in about a week, when everything had died down and calmed down once more, and that they'd catch up. Emiko watched Junior follow Demi as the pair left to head home. She looked back to Holeman to see him heading back inside.

Sighing softly to herself Emiko turned and headed back toward the Administrative building. If she was going to be heading to a kage summit then she was going to have to set things up to run smoothly while she was gone - as well as figure out who exactly she was going to bring with her.
