PostSubject: ...Help me. [Open]   ...Help me. [Open] EmptySun Jan 24, 2016 8:29 pm

The pain was all Muninn could think of as he stumbled through the streets of Sabakugakure. The stares could go to hell as he tightened the tourniquet around his severed left arm and shoulder. He had the sense to keep pressure on his wound, and to keep his Morigakure headband in sight, wrapped around his other arm. The note from Luke he had discarded. Better to keep his shinobi out of this as much as possible. Making his way towards the hospital, he stumbled inside and fell into the arms of a nurse. She looked shocked at his appearance, but he didn't care at this point. All he could think of was the pain and two words. "...Help me."

Kōmori Had just flown in, carrying the wounded kage on his back, he had fortunately passed out over the flight, but as soon as they landed, he woke up and got out, dispite missing a arm and Kōmori knew that if the kage went out into the hidden sand, all bloody and beat, he wasn't going to manage long. Kōmori called out to him.

"Idiot, you won't make it in your condition, let me help you, you dummy," Kōmori told the kage as he watched him walk off, discarding Luke's request of aid letter. Kōmori thought that was very rude and not in keeping with how a kage should be acting, although Kōmori did taste something funny in his injuries, possible gangreen, it always upset his taste buds, but it might be a sign that the kage wasn't thinking clearly. Kōmori took the letter off the ground, soaked in the kage's blood and tucked it into the red ribbon he used as a harass before he would pick up the kage with his small bat hands and would place him on his back again.

"You'll get all the help you need, pal, but someone in your condition shouldn't be moving, you know your wound became infected right? I can smell it, just try not to move too much and let me help you, you stubborn ass fool," Kōmori said grumbly, making small clicking noises to help him navigate the streets of the hidden desert. There were a lot of people staring at them and wondering what the Harukage was doing, injured and carried on a creature of the night meant. Kōmori looked around the busy market place, he could hear their words as clear as day.

"Alright you guys, listen up; can anyone come see to this man's condition? he requires serious medical attention, so can any of you fruit flies stop staring and find someone who can help this kage live," Kōmori said aloud, even though it hurt his ears to do so; The Harukage was a stubborn mule, no doubt about that, but Kōmori knew Luke would be upset if he had let the kage go out into the hidden desert by himself in the hottest climate of all the hidden villages.

Meanwhile, Luke was still heading there way, walking along the desert, his eyes staring at the village, it was in sight, but it would take him a good half hour or so to reach the gates. He only hoped that Kōmori was making sure that the kage was getting help, although he had a feeling things weren't going as he planned.

"Don't you go dying on me, it would be rather pathetic if you died after such a humiliating defeat like this, so stay alive, Harukage till I get there; even if you resent me, I'm going to get you help and save your life, I just hope in time, you'll understand," Luke said to himself as he took a piece of thick fabric and wrapped it around his mouth to avoid sand getting in his mouth as he trekked on, eager to reach the gates of the hidden sand village.

"My lady! A Morigakure nin has arrived and he's injured. He was last seen headed into the hospital, but his injuries look quite severe."

Emiko looked up to find not one but two members of ANBU black ops standing in front of her desk. She had been busying herself with paperwork - not that there was much there since Marquetta Yanagi, her predecessor, had been so neat and tidy - but something as severe as this would likely require her full attention. Thankfully, no one would question her as she was still dressed in her full Kage robes due to a meeting with the village elders she had had earlier - hat and all.

Emiko stood to her feet and hurried out of her office. A secret entrance into an underground tunnel later and she was on her way to the hospital in a much faster fashion than she would have been able to move on the streets. She would arrive through another passage way just as a member of her staff was placing the Morigakure injured nin onto a gurney and wheeling him into a private operating room; ANBU guards flanking the doors to refuse entry to anyone else who wasn't a Sabakugakure medic.

Hands were washed quickly as several of her staff went about cleaning the wound area. Emiko then moved over to the gurney, hands glowing green with healing chakra. She placed them above the wound, hovering them there, as she began to heal Muninn's wounds.

Muninn had shoved off Komori a while before getting to the hospital, so he didn't have to worry about being seen with a giant vampire bat. He was rushed to a room in the back, and it wasn't long before a woman with white hair, honey-gold eyes and Kage robes was tending to him. He noted that behind the screen several men stood, likely ANBU, were standing guard. If Luke had followed him, he hoped that the man had enough sense not to mess with them. Looking back up at the Arenokage with his mismatched eyes, he smiled thinly.

"Well, Arenokage-chan, I never imagined we would meet this way. My name is Muninn Senju, and Temaki-sama elected me as her successor when she stepped down. I was taking a walk when I came across a couple of wandering fur-trappers. Turns out they were cannibals who had a thing against Kage. The older of the two was easily S-Rank, and used cloth to attempt to bind me. I had to sever my arm to get away. From the report of my clone, the younger one used some sort of Space-Time Ninjutsu and could phase through just about anything I threw at her. I suspect there's more to it than that, but I have no knowledge whatsoever of these things. As to how I managed to get here, the two members of my squad heard of the aftermath of what happened. From what I know, Okami Uchiha managed to sort the fact from fiction and find me soon enough that Luke Yasenha could use his Summon to get me here. You probably remember Okami, since his file states that he was placed on your team for a short period of time. He was promoted to Special Jounin after his return from Sabakugakure, and you might be pleased to note that after an extended period of time training in the mountains, he has settled down completely and has quit his "Uchiha Antics", as it were. Luke Yasena was a Morigakure Missing-nin who declared himself a Kurayamigakure Jounin some while back. You might have caught the aftermath of a scandal that involved his supposed death. Turns out he wasn't dead, and shortly after his return to duty I was forced to demote him to the status of Genin for several reasons, the most prominent being his use of torture against citizens of Morigakure under the guise of gathering intelligence for a mission. I want to keep them both on a tight leash, but I also wish to award them for their assistance in getting me here. What is your opinion, Emiko-san?"

Yet Kōmori couldn't be lost so easily, especially because his hearing was so accurate that he could hear every beat of the kage's heart. And in his condition, he hadn't the strength to stop Kōmori from picking him up and taking him to the hospital and handing him to the medical staff; This guy was either really stubborn or really stupid to try and move on his own with a infected stub of a left arm, even from here, Kōmori could smell the infection in his blood, it was nasty, but he was content as the medical staff whisked him away to the waiting kage, who was about to save his life. It was in all this time that Luke managed to catch up with Kōmori and the kage and Kōmori turned to him, sensing his approach.

"Is he inside?" Luke asked simply and Kōmori nodded, tired from all that flying and having to deal with the kage's silly infection induced ramblings and actions.

"Sure is, but he kept trying to move on his own when he had a infection in his blood stream, it was like he wanted to die or something, stubborn fool, but he's in the care of the kage of this village, smells like a girl to me, but let's hope she's good enough to save him, I just hope he's thankful to you for sending him here to save his life. Its funny that the boy you hang out with isn't here, seems rather unfeeling to have left the kage like this, don't you think?" Kōmori asked Luke. Luke didn't want to say anything about Okami, but Kōmori made a point; where was Okami?

"What I think about him isn't my business right now, whether our differences is, we're responsible for keeping the kage safe and to make sure he survives this. Trust me, I'm not expecting him to be grateful that it was me and you that ensured that his life was saved, I honestly don't care, at least we can hold our heads up high and know we did the right thing, by the way, Kōmori, you can head home now, you deserve a rest after all you crap you've had to deal with today," Luke said politely, Kōmori, dispute his grumpy and somewhat bunt exterior, he was a sensitive creature and the sun was having a effect on him and Luke knew that. Kōmori nodded, thankful for that and, without saying another word, disappeared as the summoning jutsu was undone. Luke headed inside and found one of the nurses.

"Excuse me, I need to locate the Harukage, I need to make sure he's ok; I'm the escort for the Harukage's visit here and I need to stay with him," Luke explained, handing her the letter that they were meant to get; the escort part was a half truth, he wasn't a official escort to the kage, but in this case, it would make sense and the nurse bought it, showing him to the room where the kage was being operated on. He couldn't interfere with something like this, medical ninjutsu wasn't something he knew to do so it was out of his hands. He simply took a seat outside the operating theatre as he watched them work; he couldn't hear what they were saying behind the glass as it was sound proof, he just kept his eyes on the kage, keeping watch over him whether he was wanted or needed or not at all; He had duties and the Harukage had responsibilities to run a village. Luke was just annoyed that the kage was left alone that night without his ANBU to escort him. It annoyed Luke, but nothing he could do would change the past, so he simply had to deal with things as they went, keeping his blood red eyes on the kage's face, watching his mouth open and close. In some ways, Luke wished he had a sharingan so he could read the kage's lips and know what he was saying, but that didn't matter really, he sat there, watching and waiting to see if the kage pulled through.

PostSubject: Re: ...Help me. [Open]   ...Help me. [Open] EmptyMon Jan 25, 2016 1:38 pm

[Elohel. This is quite amusing and sad; I sort of feel like there's two different threads going on in one with the way y'alls posts are clashing as to what's going on, ect.]

The blood loss was stopped, the wound healed. Following this the area was completely cleaned of blood and then wrapped tenderly in some sterile bandages: it would help to protect the area and keep it safe for the next few days while it was tender and likely even a little painful. The wound was perfectly healed, but the mind tended to remember the way things felt and linger on it - and there was nothing to be done about it. "Your wound is healed, there's no infection. Keep the bandages on to help protect the area over the next few days because it'll be tender. You might experience bouts of pain; there's nothing actually wrong with the wound now, however it's your brains way of remembering what happened. That should fade with time; but there is nothing medically that can be done about it."

Muninn began to give Emiko a lot of information, and even ask for a lot of advice. "I'll keep an eye out for these individuals. If I were you I'd rest for a bit before attempting to travel. You lost a lot of blood, and had you not arrived when you did you'd be dead now."

She would then sigh softly. "As far as advice goes? I cannot say; I have none to give really. That they helped you here is good, but to reward them after everything they have done? They should be lucky they're still counted as shinobi in your village. They're adults, not children: it is their duty to help you as their kage. In my opinion they were doing simply what they should; what they owe their village after everything that they've already put you and the previous Harukage through."

Nodding, Muninn looked the Arenokage in the eye. Her advice was sound. The two men had caused quite a bit of trouble, and they were both idiots in their own way. It was almost as if Okami had a bit of a death wish, and Luke...Well, Luke hadn't done much to advance his position since his demotion and supposed death. Therefore, he shouldn't reward the two of them for doing their duty. Sitting up, he would stretch his right arm and left stump, feeling like it was still there. That was something he would have to get used to. Looking back at the Arenokage, he would bring up something else that was on his mind.

"Since three of the four Kage have been replaced as of this moment, I was planning on inviting you all to a Kage Summit in Morigakure. You would be staying with me in my complex, and I wold also like to invite your squad. It would be a good experience for the young ones. I am planning on going to Kurayamigakure once I am ready in order to invite the Kuraikage as well. Like I said before, I am keeping both Okami and Luke on an extremely short leash. That way they cannot cause any more trouble than they already have. Also, I believe that Okami at least doesn't have a death wish anymore, so if you wouldn't mind I could arrange a meeting between you two to settle past differences. As of this moment, I can't afford to have any animosity between my shinobi and other countries. I will admit that I am likely the most inexperienced Kage, and that makes me nervous. I am going to extend the same request to the Kuraikage in regards to Luke and Okami both. Relieving this tension should be the first step in making sure that Morigakure is safe from invasion."

Emiko went over to a nearby table where there were several syringes, tubing, an empty vials. She grabbed up a few while moving a stool on wheels over to the side of Muninn's makeshift operating table and bed. "I want to make sure you didn't catch anything from that attack on you; there's no telling what sort of diseases that guy who attacked you migth have if people are his main meal. I'd like to take a few vials of your blood so I can test it and make sure you've got a clean bill of health before I send you on your way - your village doesn't exactly have any high ranked medics, and I'd rather be totally safe than get a bad report later on. Plus, I don't like the idea of knowing you're going back there with a couple of knuckle heads if you're not in complete tip top shape."

If the Harukage gave no objections to having his blood tested for any diseases or bacterical infections Emiko would make quick work numbing the sight near his elbow on his remaining arm using the chakra anathetic jutsu of hers; something that would require just a minute bit of chakra. She would then sterilize the area with sterile pads before pricking his skin with the needle connected to the tube. She would fill up several vials of blood through this method before placing a piece of gauze against his arm and pulling the needle out to stop the bleeding.

Chakra Anesthetic:

She would tape the gauze to his arm at that point and nod a bit. "I think a summit is a good idea. I heard that Umigakure finally had a new kage, but I know nothing about her, so I'd be interesting to meet her. Plus, we can all come together and discuss business that way. As far as Okami goes: I'd be willing to speak with him, but I don't know if he'd be willing to listen to me or not." Emiko would scoop up the vials of blood then and nod toward the door. "I'll go get these tested. The results shouldn't take me long to come up with. Do you want to wait around the village for the results? Or do you plan on heading back? I can send a messenger if you'd like to get home."

Chakra Remaining: 1,175 - 10 = 1,165

Nodding his head, Muninn allowed Emiko to take a small sample of his blood. Whatever jutsu she used was effective, as he hardly felt the needle slide into his skin, and it didn't hurt at all. He wasn't terribly concerned about his blood being misused, since the Arenokage would have no point in doing so. He was a fairly good judge of character, and while hers seemed to have many layers, she seemed loyal and trustworthy at least. After all, she had healed him, a complete stranger, without a second thought.

"I'll follow your advice and stick around a bit until you clear me to go. After all, I do have to deal with those knuckleheads." He said with a chuckle. "Do you mind if I wander around a bit, or would you rather me conserve my strength? I'd rather take your advice, since I only know basic first aid and it doesn't necessarily cover this!"

As he spoke, he waved his stump around a bit, wincing as one of those phantom pains hit him. That would be another thing he would have to get used to. His smile wouldn't fade, however, and he would just keep on going for as long as his body would let him.

"Hmm... you can venture about. Just don't push yourself too hard and avoid trying to manipulate any chakra. Make sure you keep hydrated as well. Might be best to get something to eat too. You'll need all the strength you can get to start feeling better. If you need me for any reason either come back to the hospital or go to the Administrative Complex: someone will find me for you."

She would place the vials safely in her robes so that she wouldn't drop them while transporting them to check them out. "I'll catch back up with you when I've got the results." Emiko would wait to see if Muninn had anything to say before walking out of the room. She would give specific instructions to the ANBU that no one was to enter this room until she returned to clean it to which they nodded.

Emiko then walked off down the hallway....

Laughing, Muninn watched as Emiko left the room. Getting up, he would leave the room and greet Luke outside the door. Watching the ANBU carefully, he would wave to them and walk off down the hallway, speaking to Luke as they went.

"So, you were hanging around all this time, eh? Not surprising. Well, let's go exploring!"
