Clan History: Though never considered as one of the Sage clans, the Sabure have been around for hundreds of years. The clan was originally founded in Suna by Makai. He was a man that was known for leading with an iron fist, while at the same time he was also known for his gentle guiding hand. He was a man that wanted to see his clan strive to be all that it could; and was willing to ensure that this appened by any means necessary.
The clan continued like this throughout the generations, beginning to grow and strengthen. Almost from the very beginning the clan was known for their sand usage. While most in the clan took a more passive use with it; using it much like a shield, others created jutsu to use it as a weapon. More and more members of the clan began to pick up on these violent acts and in a way it caused what in the clan is always cause for debate: a curse or a blessing, depending on how you looked at it.
The clan began to have a passive ability with the sand. It naturally molded itself around their forms like a shield. While this was great in combat it began to cause a drastic lowering of their natural taijutsu abilities. Meaning, that anyone who could get in close enough, fast enough, would be able to land devastating hits.
Many more years would pass with this continuing to happen; and because of such the clan began to start an almost ritual like training for their children. Two years into their children being born they were taken from their parents and brought to a privately hidden school to be trained in the arts of sand. Their way of attempting to counter this lack of physical defense.
The children were always returned to their parents about the age of five, unless they were one of
the few that showed incredible promise; those were the children that were kept longer to undergo advanced, and sometimes painful, training.

Kekkei Genkai Description:Each member of the Sabure clan has a passive ability that allowed for the natural defensive control of sand without the need of other elements to create and manipulate this sand (this means you can take just Sand without needing Wind and Earth to make Sand). The sand must be bought and carried; and cannot be regenerated from an outside source; unless within the sands of their desert home or through the usage of a jutsu.
Drawbacks: Given the fact that the members of the clan carry around a gourd of sand they take an automatic -1 tier to Speed.

Description: Every member of the Sabure clan takes an automatic and permanent reduction to their overall chakra pool. In exchange the sand they carry in their gourd will automatically protect them against attacks. The sand will automatically protect the user from attacks of the users rank and lower; and the sand moves at tier 3 of that rank. (Such as a Genin's sand will move at D-3 speed when used automatically). If the user wishes to protect themselves against higher ranked attacks with this jutsu then they must use chakra to do so, and this usage follows the ordinary chakra rules (this also moves at tier 3 of the speed of the jutsu used. So if you're spending A rank chakra to protect against an A rank attack than your sand will move at A-3 speed). This jutsu protects the user no matter where they are attacked.

It also allows those who are using their Kekkei Genkai to see what is happening outside of the protective dome. In order to use it however the user must keep one of their eyes closed for the duration of the technique.
