Okami dashed through the forest. It was taking too damned long to find this Pact Fang. He had had the idea of becoming a Sage, but to find the local animal sages one must look to the wolves for guidance. He attempted to find the thickest group of them, as they seemed to be converging upon one of the clearings. He hunted and skinned a pair, a beautiful tawny one and a grizzled gray wolf. Legend had it the wolf sages required proof that you were strong of body and spirit, hunting down a pair of their own in order to prove your worth. Once the report came in, he was shocked to find that he had been slowly circling the clearing the entire time. Walking into it stunned, he found the Wolf Pact Fang lying on a large slab of stone in the center. Wolves surrounded him, watching, waiting, as he walked toward it in a daze. Picking it up, he marveled at the weight of the necklace. It would take some getting used to, that was for sure. Slicing his finger on the fang just like legend said to, he soon heard a howl erupt from the collected wolves. He felt a breath make its way down the back of his neck, and he knew instinctively not to turn. A deep, gravelly voice  erupted from behind him, chuckling in amusement.

"You know, it's not often an Uchiha wishes to become a Sage. Usually they are too concerned about their eyes...I could kill you for bothering my slumber, but it was time to wake up anyway. Why do you seek power, hm? To protect? To avenge? To conquer?" The great white wolf asked, to which Okami could only gulp lightly and reply that he indeed wanted the power to protect. "Well, then you are noble in heart. I like that. You see that mountain there? The largest one? Within that mountain there is a cave. I will show you Senjutsu there. If you fail, I feed you to the pack."

And with that, the great wolf was gone. Okami tied on the Pact Fang and gathered the pelts quietly, leaving for the mountain. It would be a long walk, but he was sure he could do it. If he didn't, he'd be wolf food.

On the way, he would feel a familiar presence in the bushes, watching and waiting for him. Sighing, Okami would call out to the figure, wanting him to come out into the light of the forest. "Come on out, I know you're there. What do you want, Luke?"

Luke was lying on the branch of one of the many trees on the path to the mountain, a towering monument of stone and ice that would be a test of not only strength, but skills of survival against extreme odds. A single blood red eye opened at the sound of the voice that annoyed him; Okami Uchiha. He asked him what he wanted as Luke's head remained facing upwards, towards the clear sky above the trees.

"What I want? you make it sound like I'm not wanted, is that any way to treat a friend, Okami or are you still upset I left you in the hidden dark? Come on, you know I've been punished by the Harukage and banned from my home, what more do you want?" Luke told him solemnly; he come here to enjoy the fresh air and also to visit the ancient wolf temple rumoured to be area the area and saw Okami walking up with a bandaged finger and carrying a blade Luke hadn't seen before. He shifted and gracefully fell from the tree and onto the ground on his feet, his gaze turning to Okami.

"In fact, I should ask you what your doing here? and what's that sword your carrying with you? I haven't a blade like that before, fancy letting me in on what's happening?" Luke asked a fury of questions, before pausing to allow Okami time to respond, moving back against the tree he had been lying on and laid his back against it, folding his arms as he waited.

Laughing, Okami lifted his hands, the right thumb being bandaged lightly from the cut he had made. Stemming down his friend's curious nature was never an easy task. "Well, I cut my thumb on this necklace as a Senjutsu contract, forming a bond with the local Wolf Temple. To become a Wolf Sage, one must bring two pelts and a Pact Fang like this one to the temple, then meet with the Great Wolf Fell, where he will train you until you are broken, then he will remake you in the image of a wolf. The sword, on the other hand, is one of the finely crafted ones from that smith on the edge of town. I have a better one, but I'm not strong enough to use it yet. Anyway, what are you doing here?"

Watching his long-time friend leaning against the tree, he would note his own appearance with a slight glance down. He wore his typical Uchiha garb, with a high-collared short sleeve black shirt with the Uchiha symbol on the back, long white pants with black leg-wraps, and a white rope tied around his waist to hold his katana. His kunai sheath was strapped to his thigh, with a small tool pouch on the right of his belt and five scrolls attached on the left side. He carried ten kunai and ten shuriken in his pouches, enough to slay a small army given his particular talents. All in all, he looked the part of the Uchiha's Main Line.

His Morigakure headband glistened as it hung loosely around his neck. It had withstood the test of time, as it was the same one that had hung there when he was first promoted to Genin, and the same one that had seen both his rise and fall from Jounin. He had made a simple mistake, and had been given a simple choice; He could either leave Morigakure, or become a Genin again. After having proven that he had learned his lesson, he had been re-promoted to the status of Special Jounin, symbolizing his Jounin level skill in at least one area of study. As it was, he wished to become stronger. That was why he was turning to Senjutsu to increase his natural prowess with, well, Nature's prowess.

Luke listened patiently, nodding at Okami once he had finished before he spoke.

"It's about time you stopped hiding behind that heap of junk of armour and do something more offensive; although never thought you for senjutsu, but hey, I'm not exactly complaining about it, just don't loose your nerve as I'm pretty sure your lot would love the chance to eat you if you show signs of weakness. Although I guess if you do get eaten, just hope they don't eat your head since if you get far enough, maybe your head will live on so you can continue to annoy me for all eternity," Luke said with a chuckle at the end and Luke didn't want to admit, but he would kinda miss Okami if he was eaten; like who would he annoy and who would annoy him without Okami around to do it. Sure, being annoyed wasn't pleasent, but it was having a more annoying little brother.

Luke sighed, taking a breath and looked towards the temple that Okami had come from as he thought of a response. He looked to the sash he wore, looking at the two headbands; one of the hidden Forest's with the tree symbol and the hidden dark's one. it was meant to be a reminder of what he could never have again and honestly, Luke was kinda homesick, he missed his family because of paranoia and a simple mistake on his part that caused so much trouble.

"I'm sightseeing, that's all you need to concern yourself since I have no desire to interfering with your training; that's the path you follow and what you do to get to the end has nothing to do with me. Besides, me following you would only be a mistake, trust me, but feel free to howl or whatever it is you can once in sage mode to let me know how your doing," Luke said before turning towards the path Okami had left and started to head down it; there was another thing he seeked and he wasn't eager to have Okami interfere with what he desired to get.

Sighing again, Okami brushed off the jokes about his family armor like they were nothing. Luke had made fun of him for it ever since he found it, and honestly it didn't bother him that much anymore. The armor had been his ancestor's, and had been buried in his tomb with him. However, he didn't wear it anymore as he had no need for the sleek plates. They were not in the midst of a war, so the armor sat in his house in a special closet made for it, locked and chained behind heavy wooden doors engraved with the clan's symbol.

Grabbing Luke's wrist before he could go, Okami would lock and hold him there, his grip like iron. "Oh no, you aren't getting off that easily. Come with me. You won't be able to make the contract so you can't learn Senjutsu, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be nice to walk to the Temple with a friend. Besides, I'd like to train with it once I have it. Don't tell me the big bad Lightning Demon is scared of a wolf?"

Over the years, Okami had learned how to hit the man's buttons right on the mark, having put up with his inferiority complex for years. Laughing, Okami would let the other man's wrist slide from his fingers and would strike with the speed of a cobra, poking the older man in the ribs. He DEFINITELY knew how to push his buttons.

Walking away, Okami would wait for a moment for the other man to follow him. The forest around Morigakure was pretty, and nothing he said or did could do it justice. Wolves watched silently from the shadows, keeping a respectful distance yet always watching, waiting for something to happen. It was mildly disconcerting, but they were likely watching Luke, as he did not have the necessary components to make a contract. Yawning, the Uchiha would look out of the corner of his eye at the other shinobi, wondering what was going on in that devious mind of his.

"So, Luke, what really brings you out this way? I wonder this because it obviously isn't for the sightseeing, as you claim. You see, I know a thing or two about these woods, and after a while the mysticism dies down. You grew up here, so you should know that these woods hold no danger lest you bring it here with you. Seriously, don't lie to me and say that it's nothing, because I can tell it isn't."

It was true; Okami could smell a lie a mile away, and Luke reeked of it more than usual. What was so damned important that he basically followed Okami out into a freaking clearing in the middle of the forest just to find?

Luke saw Okami grabbing his right wrist, asking him where he was going as he couldn't get a contract for senjutsu from the wolves and that he would like company to the temple, unless he was scared of a wolf. Luke's eye twitched in annoyance, his pupils changed to their more demonic appearance with slits. Using Okami's strength against him, he pulled on Okami's arm which would pull him forward before he slammed his elbow into Okami's face in order to get him off him.

"Don't get the wrong idea, Okami; I have no intention of getting a wolf senjutsu contract, I wouldn't waste my time with it, if I was going to get senjutsu, it would be with my own summon animal type with the vampire bats then some old wolves. Besides, I'm not scared, I just have no intention of assisting your training; this is a test meant to test your survival, me coming along would only show you are weak towards the wolves if you must relay on someone else to babysit you...but, if your so insistent on me coming along, I guess I'll come watch from the skies how you do," Luke said with a sigh; he was rather hoping to find what he came for, although he then figured whatever he seeked would be in the main temple where Okami was heading, so it might not be a total loss, although he would have preferred to remind in the forest where it was sunny and peaceful. He took out a small scroll and used it to summon his main summoning scroll. He then made a release hand seal and the scroll unravalled around Luke, swirling like a twister. Biting his thumb, he eyed the main seal in the scroll and pressed his bloody hand against it.

"Summoning jutsu!" Luke called as a large burst of white smoke filled the area, revealing Luke's summon, Kōmori appeared, although this time, he was wearing a giant sleeping mask over his eyes with the words "I only drink blood on the weekend" across it in red writing. Kōmori huffed again and turn his head towards Luke, making some ticking noises as he was using his echolocation to see.

"Come on, its the middle of the day; you're lucky I was wearing this or you'd be sorry. Anyway, what do you want now?" Kōmori asked Luke, who chuckled before getting onto Kōmori's back.

"We're going to oversee Okami's training and I need a bird's eye view of the journey or in this case, a bat's eye view, so to speak, think you can manage it?" Luke said, taking a hold of Kōmori's red silk ribbon harness and Kōmori gave a groan of displeasure.

"You know I hate flying so early in the day, but fine, at least tell me you got me something to drink?" Kōmori asked and Luke produced a large blood bag and uncapped the lid. Hearing this, Kōmori opened his mouth and Luke emptied the bag's contents into Kōmori's mouth as he lapped up the blood, licking his lips and looking a lot happier.

"Mhmm A+ with iron, my favourite, thanks Luke," Kōmori said, roughly thanking Luke for the quick meal as Luke looked to Okami.

"Well, get going, I'll be flying above, watching your performance to the wolves, don't want to become a pack of dog food now, do you Okami? Luke said, once Okami had taken off for the mountain, Luke would have Kōmori take off and fly and decent height above Okami so he could get a good view of the path Okami was taking.
technique log

Summoning Contract:

Animal/Plant Type: Vampire Bat
Elemental Affinity: Fire
Specialization: Flight
Summon Type: Animal (Large)

Rank: A

Description: Kōmori (Bat) is a giant vampire bat, equal in size with a small house. He has large, sensitive bat ears that he uses for echolocation to detect prey or incoming enemies; however they are so sensitive that normal talking to Kōmori is like shouting at him, so he normal asks people to speak gently or in whispers as he prefers not to get a headache from all the talking people do. He has a furry back, covered in black fur and large bat wings with black scales covering them to make them more resistant to damage. He also wears a long, red silk rope around his neck to allow Luke or another passager to hold on; however he very much dislikes the ribbon as he finds it "too girly" for his tastes, however, he understands Luke's desire to not accidentally choke him with a regular rope instead and went with something softer so its was more comfortable. He's quite gruff, especially if he's summoned during his nap till midnight, which tends to be the case a lot of the time, so he ends up acting like he got out the wrong side of bed; grumpy, irritable and serious. He does enjoy drinking blood and normally does it to cheer himself up after being summoned.

General appearance:

Summoning Process: Luke first has to summon the summoning scroll from a smaller scroll he keep with him. He then throws it into the air, where it floats while the roll of the scroll comes out and swirls around him, covered in various kanji; the main one being a set of kanji (吸血コウモリ) that translate to "vampire bat" within a arcane sealing circle, made of smaller kanji. Luke then presses his blood against the seal before it bursts into a cloud of white smoke before revealing Kōmori.

Jutsu:

Name: Fire Style: Red Moon Blast jutsu
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Element: Fire
Range: Medium to Long range
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: one post
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: Kōmori charges up the flames inside his mouth into a ball shape, before firing it as a think, wide beam of fire, able to cause wide-scale destruction and cause burns of varying intensity, depending on how much the person was caught in the attack and what Rank they are and if they used any jutsus to counter it. Consumes 20 chakra to use.

Drawbacks: Despite his speed, flight and offensive abilities; He's not very durable as a well timed shot from a C to B Rank Jutsu can burn through his fur or his light defences, leaving him vulnerable if he was hit. Also, he doesn't like loud sounds as they throw him off and he doesn't like working in the day as it hurts his eyes which are naturally adjusted to the darkness.

Gritting his teeth, Okami swiftly dodged the incoming elbow with the grace of a cat. His reaction time had improved from when they were kids, and even then Luke couldn't touch him. What Luke said next just pissed Okami off even more, but he'd never let it show, keeping a straight face throughout the entire ordeal of dealing with Luke. "Don't get the wrong idea, Okami; I have no intention of getting a wolf senjutsu contract, I wouldn't waste my time with it, if I was going to get senjutsu, it would be with my own summon animal type with the vampire bats then some old wolves. Besides, I'm not scared, I just have no intention of assisting your training; this is a test meant to test your survival, me coming along would only show you are weak towards the wolves if you must relay on someone else to babysit you...but, if your so insistent on me coming along, I guess I'll come watch from the skies how you do,"

"Luke, you misunderstand me. My training is my own, but I would like a sparring partner once I achieve Sage Mode. Unless, of course, you're scared. If you have any fear whatsoever, the wolves will sense it, and you'll be dead meat, Komori or no. Having a wolf for an enemy is the worst possible thing you could imagine. They are tireless hunters, relentless when it comes to combat, and above all they have a sense of honor that blows your cowardly backstabbing out of the water, Luke. So, fly along if you like, but I warn you that you will have to land and fight me eventually."

And with that, Okami was gone. Rushing through the forests of his home was no laughing matter, as one misstep among the trees could spell broken bones and death, but Okami had been doing it all his life. He was perfectly fine in the woods, and it showed in every step he took.

Luke scoffed at Okami's words as he looked at him distastefully.

"You seem to think I'd care about something as petty as honour in battle; it doesn't how you fight, to win is to survive and I intend to fight the darkness by becoming a part of it. Besides, I seem to remember you were one such coward; always running away, dodging me, but let's be honest here; a spineless coward who hides and runs away from a fight has no right to call himself a ninja. Besides, you'll get a fight if that's truly your wish, although if I was one of the pack, I wouldn't have allowed someone like you to train senjutsu when it will only be wasted on you, so I don't know what I look forward to first; having to fight a impure sage or watching you get eaten alive, both seem like amusing options, but let's see who's fear they smell once they are done with you, ha!" Luke said, looking borderline psychotic, with a twisted smile and his eyes like the devil himself had come, even laughing like a maniac before giving a tug on Kōmori's red sash before they climbed high into the sky, flying above Okami, but close enough that Okami was surrounded by a large bat shaped shadow. Luke, after Kōmori had taken to a level altitude, sat down on Kōmori's back and crossed his legs before he looked up at the sky.

"And it was such a lovely day too; if he's in such a hurry to die, it's not my problem, getting what I need from the wolves' cemetery is my only objective here, but if he wants a fight, fine, if he survives the wolf senjutsu process, we'll see if he finally starts attacking instead of running away," Luke said to himself, he was high enough that the wind would block any of his words from reaching Okami and he was sitting on top of Kōmori, so there was no way for Okami to read his lips to know what he said. Luke then laid down on Kōmori's back, the fur covering it kept him warm along with flying above the tree cover and into the sky so the sun kept him warm as well, he doubted Okami would be as comfortable, but that was his funeral, so Luke let him do whatever he wished.

Luke stated psychotically, his eyes turning that annoying demonic shade of red, a sick mockery of the red that made up Okami's Sharingan. Drawing his sword faster than Luke could blink, Okami would hold it to the man's throat in an obvious gesture. Okami was the superior warrior of the two, and Luke damned well better figure that out if he hadn't already. The blade would be pushed in just enough to cause a light trickle of blood, then be sheathed in another instant. The Kenjutsu practitioner would then walk away, continuing through the forest at a leisurely pace.

"Why did you spare that loathsome creature? His...summon looked like a tasty snack, as did he. Your honor is commendable, my newest Acolyte, but do not forget to press the advantage. That is the first step to becoming a Wolf Sage; ferocity and honor in equal measure, balanced and pure. Practice this on your walk. Do not let a drop of water cause such a large ripple. Seize it, and remain calm. I may just be a clone of the Great One, but I can tell you that he is watching even now. He also notes that the other young man is after something, and is likely using you to get to it. The Great One even has an inkling of what that something is, and would like to have your training sped up so that you may protect the sacred ground of the Wolf Temple. I know that you shall do wonders for this world in the name of the Pack, as I have been watching you since you were born. Your bloodline is a dangerous one, as you are descended from that man, and your mother died at birth. This shaped your entire life until now, and your mother knew this, even going so far as to name you after the wolves dotting this countryside in order to honor us and draw our attention to you. You were raised by your aunt, and the elders of your clan despised you greatly because of your bloodline. They even went so far as to create a prophecy that you would bring ruin upon the world, much as your ancestor once did. You bounced from Kenjutsu dojo to Kenjutsu dojo, learning skills in order to maintain your balance and chakra. You even dabbled in Ninjutsu, for which you have a natural affinity to fire. You have always learned fast, and once you dedicated your mind to something you could do almost anything with ease, a classic Uchiha trait. Even when you came home to find that your aunt had passed, you dedicated yourself to learning how to be a shinobi, and graduated the Academy in a record time of eight months. You became friends with that waste of breath flying above us, and even went easy on him whenever you sparred. Sadly, that did nothing to help his ego, and merely swelled it to the point it is at currently. When you were thirteen you became a Jounin, most likely too early given what would happen in later years. Your first team consisted of two Genin, Nami being your favorite. You two hit it off, and over the two years that your team was active you became close friends. When the incident happened in Zaraki, you were devastated. You kept the scars that litter your face in order to learn humility and to remind you of what had happened for the rest of your life. However, that did not stop you from making the mistake of drawing your blade upon your second team's second member, having provoked your infamous Uchiha rage. Once this happened you were given two options, exile or demotion. You chose the latter, being loyal to your Village. You were placed on the same Genin team you had issues with, where they misunderstood your every action and reacted poorly to every situation you were put into. Eventually, you were removed from the team, and promoted to Special Jounin despite your failures. You are now striving to prove yourself worthy in the eyes of your Kage, and may even become the next Harukage once Temaki-chan steps down. I refer to her with such affection and familiarity because I know Blast and Cana, her two wolves that she keeps at her side. They are good members of the Pack, being a sort of connection between your world and ours. This is why you wish to learn Senjutsu, young one. You constantly strive for the power to protect those you care about, even if they don't wish it. It is an admirable trait, one that I would give my right paw for." Fell said, materializing out of the brush. The Shadow Clone of the Great Wolf was an impressive size, standing eye-level with Okami at the shoulder and being easily eight or nine feet long. It was a testament to Okami's will that he didn't turn and run right then, as he knew that the real one was several times that size. He stood stock-still, not moving a muscle as the wolf circled him, not showing fear in the slightest. Was he afraid? Surprisingly, no. After the revelation of exactly how much Fell knew about him, he was sure that he had been followed and protected all his life. The thought was humbling, and the shinobi was actually quite touched that the wolf had recognized him from the moment he was born. It was soothing, and quite humbling to know.

"Thank you, Great One. It is an honor to see your face at last. Please, teach me the ways of the Sage as soon as you can. I must learn it without a doubt, and you obviously know why." Okami spoke with respect. One did not insult such a powerful animal like Luke had, after all. He would get his just desserts, that was for sure. He was obviously lying to Okami, and that was something that the shinobi just couldn't understand. Why lie to a friend?

Chuckling, the Shadow Clone of the great wolf would merely shrug his shoulders and step back into the brush, disappearing in a puff of smoke as the wind picked up. Sighing, Okami would continue on the trail.

If Okami thought he was simply going to stand there and take that hit, he was sorely mistaken; there was a reason he was one of the elite students in their class which was part of his popularity as he also draw his blade; his shorter Wakizashi that he had hand crafted and because it was shorter, it took less time to draw it out. The two blades clashed, but Luke's then suddenly burst with lightning chakra as he funnelled chidori through the metal, the birds chirping as a known sign of the assassination jutsu known as chidori. Luke forced Okami back off Kōmori and onto the ground with his strength before having Kōmori fly fast into the air so Okami wouldn't be able to follow him.

As he flew over, he then heard talking down below him, muffled by the air passing him, but just loud enough to hear parts as Luke looked over the side of Kōmori to see a giant ass wolf, speaking to Okami. He didn't bother to listen to the conversation, especially at this altitude, so he climbed back up to where Kōmori's head was and whispered into his ear.

"Let's head to the main temple, Kōmori. By the way, did you hear what they were saying?" Luke asked and Kōmori gave a annoyed huff.

"Of course; my hearing is unmatched, you know. At first, he was talking about making us snacks and something about them knowing what you seek in the cemetary of the wolf temple before going on about Okami's childhood for some reason, hell if I know, but if what he said was true, I'd rather get whatever your after quickly and get out as soon as possible. Since that's the subject, what are you looking for?" Kōmori explained briefly what the two down below were saying before asking what Luke had come for. Luke chuckled, petting Kōmori's head before laying down again, looking at the clear sky above him.

"I wasn't lying about sightseeing; the area where the wolf sages live is a wonderful example of nature and the wolves culture, which is lovely to see and visit, but the other thing I want is..." Luke said before sitting up, taking a information scroll and unravelling it, going over data containing a specific item; a large sabre tooth, belonging to a long dead elder wolf that laid among the many other wolves in the graveyard, "...The tooth of the black wolf elder, I've heard a lot about this old dog and I require something that, in time, can counter S-rank weapons and armour; a ace in the hole as it were since it best to have something ready, just in case. Of course the wolves won't let me just walk in their and fighting them all will only lead to death. There's a slim chance that because of Okami doing this sage training, they'll be too focused on him to notice, but I don't wanna take too many risks with this since I doubt asking the head wolf for the tooth of the black wolf elder is really going to work either. There must be some way to gain access to the cemetery, but my worry is even if I get access to the cemetery, trying to find that one giant wolf skeleton out of the hundreds, maybe even thousands of skeletons in there is going to be a real pain in the ass, so maybe asking the wolves for assistance might be my only option here since with their enhanced sense of smell, they should be able to find the correct wolf to take the tooth from, but gotta make sure this goes correctly and to the plan, I'd rather not leave here empty handed," Luke explained to Kōmori about his intention of gaining one of the large sabre teeth of the long dead black wolf elder; said to rival a tailed beast in terms of power and ability, his bone tissue from the tooth would be excellent in crafting a weapon to counter even the strongest of swords and armour. Of course, gaining the correct amount of strength to wield a weapon of that nature would take time and he wouldn't be able to use it right away, but it would be good to have in case he needed it. Luke got back up to the head and put the scroll in his pocket, taking hold of the red ribbon as the two flew high up the range, heading to the temple of the wolves at a fast pace.

Name: Chidori Blade ( Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Chidorigatana-草薙の剣・千鳥刀)
Canon/Custom: Canon
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Element: Lightning
Range: Melee
Specialty: Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu
Duration: -15 per post until deactivation
Cooldown: 5 posts
Description: this jutsu allows the user to channel the Chidori through any one blade. This makes it nearly unblockable as the radiating and chirping blade can easily cut through steel. Furthermore, if an opponent is stabbed, their body goes numb due to an electrical current which causes the muscles to contract, making it impossible for the opponent to move. However, it can be countered by other weapons that also utilise Lightning Release chakra flow.

Hmm. It seemed that Luke had a death wish, then. Okami noted that he and his bat, Komori, were talking up above. Motioning to the sky, the Shadow Clone appeared again as Okami walked, repeating lowly everything that was happening for Okami to hear.

There must be some way to gain access to the cemetery, but my worry is even if I get access to the cemetery, trying to find that one giant wolf skeleton out of the hundreds, maybe even thousands of skeletons in there is going to be a real pain in the ass, so maybe asking the wolves for assistance might be my only option here since with their enhanced sense of smell, they should be able to find the correct wolf to take the tooth from, but gotta make sure this goes correctly and to the plan, I'd rather not leave here empty handed,"

Gritting his teeth, Okami listened to the Great Wolf speak, growing more and more upset. Steal a tooth from Fell's father? He needed to hurry along, and Fell agreed enough to allow him onto the wolf's back. Bounding forward, the wolf traversed the miles in mere minutes. Soon, they were at the base of the mountain. Before they climbed it to reach the Temple, however, the Great Wolf had a few words to say.

"You have made it this far, young one. Yet soon, you shall embark upon the most difficult part of this journey. To achieve Sage Mode, you will have to not only defeat the pack to prove yourself worthy, but once you have done that you must defeat your friend using Senjutsu. Only those who follow the ways of the Sage are permitted within the Cemetery, so he is about to commit a grave felony, no pun intended. Once you have achieved Sage Mode, you shall walk out the back entrance, between the rocks, and come into a spring. This is the entrance to the Cemetery, guarded by two of our strongest fighters. You must drink from the pool, then dive in. There is a cave below that contains the ancient bones your friend speaks of. To defile them is to bring dishonor upon the Village of Morigakure, and I am sure that you do not wish that. We have trusted the Mori Nin for many generations, and it would be a disgrace to break that trust for one's own gain. Be warned, however, as to achieve Sage Mode you must relive your past and come to terms with it. This will be at the same time as you fight the Pack's strongest. If your attention wanes too far, you will be lost in the past, and if it focuses too much on the present, then you shall not come to terms with the past. It is a dangerous balance, and it is one that you must learn if you are to proceed. Remember, ferocity and honor."

And with that, the Great Wolf was gone once more. Climbing the mountain slowly, Okami soon came to a halt on a ledge, coughing and hacking. The air was much thinner up here, and that was something he'd have to get used to fighting in. One hand over the other, he climbed and climbed, making his way at a crawl. For every second he saved riding on Fell's clone, he lost two in the climb. Several times he slipped, and had to catch himself before he died on the fall. Several times he got to rest, however, and each time he regained his strength. It was as if something was guiding him to the top, some sort of presence that he had to appease. He refused to die, not there, not then. Not until he was Harukage, and could protect those he cared about. Not until he was a Sage, one of the legendary users of Nature Energy. Reaching up with his right, he would grasp the rock, then lift his left foot up. Planting that, he would push off and do a pull up at the same time, grasping with his left hand and planting his right foot. Likely, he could have used his Chakra Control to climb the mountain by walking, but that would be a waste of precious energy. No, better to merely climb. Reaching out once more, he felt a ledge, a crag in the rock face. This must be it. Climbing up in, he was greeted by a beautiful sight. Puppies.

Small wolf pups ran about him excitedly before their parents ushered them away. Walking forward, Okami found a larger shadow than the rest of the cave as torches began to burn along the sides. It was there that he saw Fell for the first time, truly. He was massive, easily thirty-five feet tall at the shoulder and seventy-five feet long. A deep bass echoed through the cave as he laughed, speaking his piece.

"So, you wish to learn Wolf Senjutsu, eh?...Yes, I can see that you are already worthy in my eyes. However, you must prove to the Pack that you are worthy. Do not kill them, merely...impress. No Ninjutsu or Genjutsu either, as that would give you an unfair advantage over them. Use that fang you have at your side, your katana, and also use your paws. Now, BEGIN..."

And with that, the wolves surrounding him began to enclose. Drawing his sword, he began by blocking off the attack of a male gray, slashing to keep him back. As they circled him, he let off no fear. He was not going to die. Fending off another with a backhanded slash, something flashed before his eyes.

Born to the then Head of the Clan, Okami was an only child. He was born in early July, on a Full Moon. His mother, Kitsune, had been in a violent labor for three days, and every minute of it saw her chakra drained more and more. She would scream, and the clan would cry with her, for he had no known father. Blood covered every inch of the bed, and the midwives were confused as to what was happening. Among the noble houses his family were known for being born with unnaturally high chakra levels, and thus had the most violent births. Yet, this was different. The very ground under the bed splintered from the force of her contractions, and several nurses and doctors had to be carried out and treated for comas and shattered bones. The crescendo had come at midnight. She gave the final push, and Okami made his way into the world…at the cost of his mother.

His upbringing was shrouded with pain and horror. Their noble standing was tenuous, as multiple other clans wished for their downfall so that they could rise. Okami had been adopted by his aunt, who loved him as her own. The other members of the clan, however, did not see eye to eye with her. They demanded that she send the young child to an outer village, where no one would care if he killed anyone in a fit of pique. Even though he was the last descendant of the Head Family other than his Aunt, he was considered to be much too dangerous for anyone to care for. An old seer in the clan foretold that if he lived, disaster would fall upon the various branches of the family. Attempts were made on his life quite often, and he was rejected by the other children his age. In order to teach him control to prove the others wrong, his Aunt conspired in secret to have him trained in kenjutsu by the best when he was six. He then spent many years of his childhood bouncing from dojo to dojo, never quite fitting in with the other students, yet always at the top of his class.

Opening eyes that were wrenched shut with pain, he recalled the Great Wolf's words. He would have to relive his past as he fought. Dodging a paw strike, he bashed the wolf on the back of the head with the pommel of his blade. One down, around six more to go, he thought before anotehr flashback hit him.

Eventually, Okami became weary of learning how to use a sword but not being able to utilize his skills. He went home after around five years of being away to tell his Aunt that he wanted to become a Shinobi. As he strode home, he saw a burning light fall to the ground a few miles away. Running towards it, he found it sitting there, waiting to be picked up. The chakra being exuded from the light was immense, so much so that the young Okami was soon enthralled by it. Walking over towards it, he picked up the strange orb, around the size of a marble. It was almost the consistency of jelly, but retained its shape as he moved it to and fro. Lifting it to his mouth, he wondered idly what it tasted like. A massive blast of energy coursed through his body the moment it touched his lips, causing him to drop it onto the ground. Picking it back up, he popped it into his mouth and swallowed it whole, upon which a searing pain shot through the young boy. Falling to the earth, he began to convulse, the pain not letting up until finally, blessedly, he fell asleep.

When he opened his eyes, he stood upon a plateau high in the heavens, before a shining silver Tien Lung. The dragon shifted its massive head, regarding the boy coldly. "So," It said, "You have come to take my power. You would have me live in your body, eat your food, sleep in your mind until you are ready to wield me? Ha. Young one, you have the potential, else you would not have survived the sealing, but I cringe to think that I would bow down so easily. Why should I, when all you would do is use me for your race's petty wars and squabbles. No, I think that if I were to go with you, I could guide you to the path you are fated to walk. Fine then. I shall finish the seal, then we shall be partners. At least, we will be once you are capable of wielding my power."

The next day, Okami woke up to find himself in a dorm room with multiple older boys. The blanket he had been covered with when he was found was sitting at the foot of the bed, folded neatly next to a white uniform with blue trim. Picking up a note that sat next to it, a grieving moan tore itself from his lips as Okami read the sorrowful explanation. His Aunt had passed away years ago, and the family member that had found him had enrolled him in the local Academy. Storing the letter safely in the foot locker at the end of his bunk next to his blanket, Okami put on the Academy uniform and belted on the katana granted to him. The older students watched as he fumbled with the sleeves that were much too long, until one walked over and ripped them off for him, helping him fit the rest of the troublesome uniform on. He was one of them, and they took care of their own.

So, he was to have a flashback of that hallucination when he was younger, when he had swallowed a fallen star. He was to relive his aunt's death, and his subsequent introduction to the Academy. Slashing outward, he used his momentum to kick a tawny female in the head. Two down.

Over the next few months, Okami began to change. His demeanor brightened, from acting aloof and uncaring to being more open and friendly. The other students thought of him as an enigma, as he was placed in the Special Advanced Class immediately upon taking the test, despite his age. However, they were universally kind and helpful to him for a time, as the members of his dorm told others about the night he was brought in. After several weeks, Okami soon hit the growth spurt expected of every twelve-year old. Conveniently, that was around the time that combat training started for the Special Advanced students. The students would spar against each other and against the occasional instructor. Throughout this time period, Okami was constantly berated by the head instructor, who everyone referred to as Old Jinto. According to Jinto, Okami’s method of fighting was off-kilter and flawed compared to the rest of the class.

During his 8th month at the academy, Okami heard rumors of an exam that, if passed, allowed the student to graduate early. To the young man, this sounded like a dream come true. Old Jinto had made his life a living nightmare by this time, taunting him, turning other students against him, and having his posse, a gang of Sixth-Years, beat him to a bloody pulp. Going to the main study hall, Okami sought out the instructor responsible for the exam. Signing up for it, he learned that the test itself consisted of only one thing: He must defeat Old Jinto in full combat. At hearing what the exam entailed, a slow, sadistic smile spread across Okami’s face that sent chills down the spines of more than one instructor while the other students cowered and ran. He was going to enjoy this.

The harsh shriek of steel grinding on steel sounded throughout the academy as Old Jinto and Okami struck in unison. The entire student body was watching, enthralled by the clash of reiatsu before them. Jinto’s katana strained under the force of Okami’s nodachi, both blades being swept to the side as the swordsmen each parried the other’s blow. A wave of reiatsu blasted outward along the blades’ path, collapsing a set of stands by the Academy Arena. Students went flying as the instructor disengaged, using Earth Style to restrain his opponent. The exam judges watched on in horror as Jinto released his chakra restraints in order to finish off the struggling student.

A single tear fell down Okami’s face as he watched the man who would kill him in order to keep his already-damaged reputation. Something in the young man’s heart snapped as Old Jinto stepped forward, no doubt to crush him with his Earth-Type jutsu. Okami watched as the dirt that had restrained him burned away with fires as black as pitch, and as he stood up he could hear Jinto screaming. Looking at him, Okami saw the proud bastard sink to the dust, sobbing and moaning. In his hand was his sword, a blazing inferno enveloping the misshapen weapon as a pool of metal flowed from between his fingers onto the sandy ground beneath their feet. Flashing in the sunlight, the sword sang through the air as Okami slashed through Old Jinto’s chest and buried her blade into his abdomen. Smiling to himself as the other students cheered, Okami closed his eyes and recalled the one memory he had of his mother. She had only held him for around 5 minutes before she passed out from blood loss, but over the long years he had seared the scene into his memory. She had whispered a few words as a glow of power enveloped her hand, his own chakra responding as she gave him her final words and blessed his eye. “In your heart shall burn an unquenchable fire, the only gift I can give to you. One day that fire will spread to protect you, but only your heart will know when the time's right.”

He was getting used to it now. Blocking a lunging strike with a quick parry, he wrestled with the gray male for a moment before tossing him off. Slashing him with the back of his blade, he heard bones crunch as the wolf barked in pain. Three down, Three to go. Dropping his sword in a spasm of pain, the next flashback hit him the hardest. His vision began to turn black as the last three descended upon him.

As a fresh Shinobi, Okami was asked to work on the outskirts of the Village. This suited him perfectly, as he was still unsure of what had happened not a year prior. The elusiveness of the family member who saved him bothered him greatly. He was, however, able to put the thought out of his mind easily enough with his work. As the years went by, he had almost forgotten completely about the tragedies that had torn his life apart. Time seemed to blur past the young man, and before he knew it, he was approaching the 5th anniversary of his graduation.

That day, a riot had broken out in a small town outside the Village, Zaraki. He and two recruits were dispatched to investigate and quell the uprising. Approaching the source of the infighting, the three Shinobi were disturbed by what they saw. One of the patrols sent to the outskirts that day had been murdered, their bodies strung up to pikes as the residents of Zaraki engaged in a bloodbath below. Two parties had formed, one clearly supporting this outrage, and one attempting to retrieve the corpses to return them to the Village. Steel hissed against wood as the two newer Shinobi leapt in to join the fracas. Sighing, Okami drew his blade. Increasing his chakra in a display of power in hopes of stopping the riot peacefully, the young leader scanned the battlefield in search of his charges. When he finally found the raw recruits, his face fell in dismay and horror. One of them, a young lady by the name of Nami, was fighting a losing battle against 3 others. She was holding her own, but couldn’t gain any ground. The other, a youth by the name of Hanji, had already met his fate. His mouth twisted into a mask of pain and terror, the recruit plucked helplessly at the spear thrust through his abdomen. Letting out a cry of despair, Okami felt something was off. A sharp pain tore at his eyes as chakra gravitated toward his face. His vision started to fade as he gradually lost control of his body. Opening his mouth, a roar of hatred and agony escaped his throat. An empty voice doubled his own, echoing with the sadistic grin Okami felt widen as he was forced to witness the carnage that ensued. Whispering goodbye to the memories of his friends and family, he faded into the warm abyss that grew within him.

Opening his eyes, he recognized the inner workings of the hospital. Sitting up, he found his personal belongings, along with a note explaining what had happened. Feeling his face, he felt several scars forming along his lips and cheek. Eyes tearing up, he looked down at the letter form the doctor. They hadn't managed to save his Genin, and it was a fluke that he was still alive. He owed his survival to his heritage, apparently. Standing up, he refused to let the nurse look after the once-smooth skin of his face, wanting to keep the scars. It was worth it, he thought, to always remember his first team. He would never let another one of his comrades die. Ever.

Keeping his eyes closed, he felt rough tongues lapping over him as he lay on the ground. Fell's voice boomed outward once again as he awoke. "Very good. You have passed. The Pack saw your visions, and were impressed by your dedication and loyalty. We may no begin your training in earnest."

Luke made it to the temple first since he was flying there instead of having to climb up and once he landed and got off Kōmori's back, dispelled the summon, allowing him to return to his cave in the hidden dark. He walked into the temple; a large expanse as far as his eyes could see, covered in words and wolf statues alike, the remnants of a long running culture. Luke wondered over to a unoccupied part of the temple, running his finger along the words written in what appeared to be claws, judging by the size and way they were drawn. Luke took out a empty scroll and wrote down "how interesting it was that, from all appearances, the writing was carved into the wall with the wolves' own claws; the writing itself is more for recording the ways of the wolf and although such descriptions are interesting, there is far too much to read with one sitting, future exploration is needed to fully go over all records here,".

Luke finished writing that down before heading back to the main encampment, where Okami had eventually arrived as the giant wolf he saw before stepped up, saying that Okami had to impress them. it was then the wolves started their attack on Okami, where he was forced to fight with nothing but his blade. Luke didn't much care for what happened since it was Okami's fight, so he climbed up onto one of the giant wolf statues to watch the battle.

He was doing well, but then, he suddenly collapsed as the wolves jumped him, but then everyone stopped, they were just standing there and after a while had past, they licked him awake and he was, pretty literally, coated in saliva from all those giant tongues. The leader of the pack, the one Luke had seen earlier told Okami he was worthy of senjutsu training. Once he said that, Okami would hear slow clapping as Luke walked towards the group, unfazed and if the wolves smelled him, unafraid of them, despite what he had overheard.

"Well done, Okami, a excellent display of course, although this is only the beginning of what you must face, besides..." Luke grinned wickedly, pointing to the alpha, "Hey big guy, I would like to ask you for something; but I already think you know what it is I seek, but I would like to talk to you in private, away from your boys and Okami here; just you and me, if what I hear is true and you are truly a honorable clan of wolves, I believe you should at least honor my request to a polite discussion, eh?" Luke asked, asking was a long shot and they seemed to think he would simply try to steal the tooth; as if he would be so foolish as to try and steal without at least trying the peaceful way first. Luke had a sense of honor, only it was different from Okami's as Luke would do anything to win, but at the same time, he could fight someone with honor too, it was situation for him and what was best at the time to do. He would walk over to the alpha and he would stand right in front of him, next to Okami with a serious look in his eyes, even though they appeared like a demon, he wouldn't stand down till he had a audience with this wolf.

Chuckling in an amused manner, the Great Wolf would shake his head, piercing amber eyes staring back at Luke's demonic red ones. Okami himself looked in shock due to Luke's brazen attitude. He was seriously going to just waltz in and attempt to take the damned tooth on his own? His opinion was voiced suddenly by Fell, his gravelly bass echoing throughout the cave once more. "You pitiful excuse for a human, why would you think I would stoop so low as to talk to you? I know you are here for my father's fang. I know what it is you want with it, as well. When I was a pup, he taught me everything he knew, and told me that someday people would come for his fangs. The only ones who are permitted to enter the Cemetery are we wolves and our Sages. In order to get that tooth, you must prove yourself worthy first to the pack, then to Okami. It shall be my newest Acolyte's decision, once he has achieved Sage Mode."

Six wolves then surrounded Luke, snarling and snapping their fangs. They were each Alphas of the various packs around the area, and each had seen a thousand battles. One dead shinobi, whether he be a Jounin or not, was no big deal to them. Another thing that would strike Luke as odd is that the moment he attacked the first one, a splitting headache would overcome him, a flashback to his past echoing through his mind. This was what Okami had gone through.

Luke Yasenha was born in the Hidden Dark Village into the Yasenha clan, he grew up there, often inside his head to pass the time as he watched birds pass his home. He did not mind the odd looks people gave him at that age of his strange demon-like eyes, although he saw people talking in whispers as he passed them and the other kids didn't want to play with him due to the "weird eyes" he had, meaning he was for the most part left alone.

One day, during an outing, he spotted some kids getting beaten up by some older kids, Luke went to stop them, only to get a punch to the gut and forced onto his knees by one of the gang member, who then forced him to watch them beat the living daylights out of the kids he tried to save until some Ninja on patrol came along and chase them away and arrested them, taking the kids that were beaten up to a local medical station to be healed using medical ninjustu.

After that day, Luke vowed to become a ninja to protect those who could not protect themselves, entering the academy in Morigakure to learning the ways of the ninja outside of his crime ridden village at the time. he spent ten years at the academy, becoming a somewhat popular student due to his ability to quickly learn jutsu and his somewhat unreachable attitude, this was because he wanted to be left alone since he disliked the attention that his popularity caused him so he more than once left people to be alone as he couldn't handle that many people and more then often, a teacher would come to console him as they were concerned that even though some could call him a genius, he had self-loathing and depression which keep him from making many friends from the academy, he spent a total of seven years in the academy, more then he needed to in order to vastly improve his mental performance, even though he passed the final exam without a problem, he continued to study to better improve himself, finishing his extended learning when he was fourteen years old, he then took the chuunin exam the following year with his two teammates, a Hyūga member who was one of his few friends at the academy for his excellent ability in his clans technique and dojustu and the other was a female taijustu master, although she was normally quite annoying happy and overenthusiastic, she could more then hold her own in a fight, they managed to complete the first two exams was relative ease before reaching the preliminaries, when Luke faced off against a genin with excellent fire style abilities, but, after a climatic final blow, Luke was victorious and made it to the finals when once again, he was force to use his tactics to defeat his opponents, even the point of using his most power jutsus and all of his training to pull through and win both for and with his team.

After his promotion to chuunin, he lead a squad of genin through different D & C rank missions, making sure his team was ready before he were given a B-rank infiltration mission, his first solo mission, he took off for a brothel where, according to informants, the leader of a high stakes slave trader was staying for the night for some good times as he had a weakness for beautiful and buxom women of the brothel, Luke then used a special version of one of his techniques to turn himself into a women, with a voluptuous body, D-cup, hourglass figure, nicely peach tanned skin, long black hair with two longer versions of his horn hair extensions coming down either side from the back of his head while her long, silky smooth hair ran in the middle of the two horn pigtails, now also with two large bat wings, enough to support flight and a tail with a tri-pronged end, sharp enough to cut flesh and stone, he also modified his clothes so his normal karate Gi was exposing his abdomen and his back but still keeping the sides, while his trousers changed into a black skirt that reach only to where his now smooth knees came to while changing the haori into a jacket of the same color, he also gave himself black bra and panties with matching red lace.

Confident his body was ready, s/he walked into the brothel, where partying was in full swing, there was wild love making to if the cries and moans of pleasure were anything to go by, s/he found herself at the attention of her target who came up to her, being rather flirty with her, so he came onto him in the most seductive way he knew how, wrapping his arms around this man's neck and taking him out the party and into a bedroom where he seemed to enjoy having a different kind of women in her chambers, having never seeing a women with bat wings and a tail before before he went down on him, servicing him before letting him take her, letting the pleasure of being united with a man take hold of her for a few minutes before she pulled her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss so while he was kissing her, she sent her tail into his neck, killing him almost instantly, he got to see the sadistic look on her face before he fell onto the bed, dead, she got off his now dead body, getting dressed again and cleaning her tail before locking the door behind her, making sure no one would know until she was far away and she had deactivated his technique.

The first wolf would tackle Luke as he went through the vision, fur and teeth everywhere as the combat started. Okami would ignore this, meditating as instructed. Okami sat atop the two pelts he had brought, the Pact Fang hanging around his neck. The key to Wolf Senjutsu was ferocity and honor in equal measure, the white wolf had said, and to balance it perfectly one must hold still for a time in order to gather Senjutsu Chakra. Sitting with his legs crossed and eyes closed, Okami was the perfect picture of serenity with an edge, his hands positioned in the Tiger seal. He could soon feel the energy about him, but he didn't dare move. The wolves around him seemed like they wanted a bit of a malformed failure of a snack. Gethering the energy to him took a minute? An hour? He couldn't honestly tell you how long he sat there, silently praying that it would work. Fell had mentioned that the first time was the hardest, and each other time would come naturally. Finally, something happened. For a moment he felt a change, but only in his eyes. Opening them, he stared in awe. He could see everything, hear everything, smell everything. Standing up and rushing to a pool of water in the back, time seemed to bend and break around him. Everything was in slow motion, almost like he had his Sharingan active, but more than even that. Looking at his reflection in the pool, Okami stared at the changes to his eyes in wonder. Black markings had appeared, outlining his upper eyelid and tear troughs exactly like a wolf's. His eyes themselves had turned a bright amber, with slits for pupils. So this was Sage Mode...

Gritting his teeth, he would walk back to where Luke would be standing. He would have defeated all the wolves by then, anyway. If not, then he was a failure. Standing before Fell, the Great Wolf smiled, lips curling back as he noted the change to Okami's form. He had taken on more wolfish attributes, his teeth elongating and his fingertips turning into claws. Black whisker marks would show up on his face. This was an imperfect Sage Mode, and it would take some time to learn how to master it. However, it would definitely be enough to take out Luke.

"Luke, you realize that even though you've proven yourself to the Pack, you now need to prove yourself to me, right? Your sense of honor is distorted. Those who are better than you are not worthy, and those who are lesser than you are under your control. I tire of listening to you prattle on and on about how hotheaded I am. Do you even know how hypocritical you sound? Prove to me that you can actually handle yourself in the manner a Jounin should."

With that, Okami drew his blade and settled into his stance. He could feel his muscles surging, the Nature Energy pulsing through them, enhancing his strength to that of a Taijutsu specialist and enhancing his speed to insane lengths. He would wait for Luke to draw his blade before beginning. Moving just fast enough that he would feel pressured, but not so fast that he couldn't block, Okami would begin by slashing high, changing directions to slash at his hip. He wouldn't show his true speed right away. Flipping his sword down, he would stab at Luke's foot and punch him in the face with his off hand. This was going to be fun.

Luke chuckled before laughing like someone who had been deeply disturbed some point in their life before he looked at the wolf.

"Well, I had no idea you were a relation of the one called the black wolf elder. Do forgive my rudeness for not knowing his name, the records that I've found on your people are...lack luster at best. But if you are so sure, I only want one tooth, not both and I probably won't even need the whole thing if the legends are true. But besides that, I desire the power to protect those who cannot protect themselves and the black wolf's Getsuga is just what I need; I know it exists and whether or believe me or not, it has been and will always be what I desire is to become a unbreakable shield against the darkness that wishes only ruin on the land, yes, I do what I must to win, but more important, I do it to protect what is precious to me and nothing anyone says, whether they believe me or not is and will always be my goal!" Luke said seriously, but with a passion that Okami wouldn't have heard before as Luke, on the final part of his sentence, stamped his booted foot against the ground as a thunder clap boomed as Luke looked again at the great wolf, his irises had changed and were now a gold yellow, sparking with lightning as the same energy flowed around his body with some of the lightning forming two horns on his head. This form he took was a rare thing for Luke to do, but it would appear when he truly meant what he said and his desire was strongest; this was the true reason he was known as the lightning demon due to this form and his mastery of the lightning release.

He saw the first wolf charge him, claws raised to slash him and Luke draw his own, countering the force of the large, but then, a burst of pain flooded his mind as his past was being drawn out and show to him once again in perfect clarity; being seen by these wolves; every day, the battles he's had, the times in hidden dark, watching people being murdered and cursing his powerlessness, the time he was forced to watch people suffer with him unable to do anything about and his trials to become what he is. But they made a mistake; this only made the flames of hate for the suffering of others and his desire to protect them from the darkness by becoming the darkness, reminding him of something his father told him when hunting a strange animal in the hidden dark, "Sometimes you must know the beast, before it can be slain; don't forget this son, so no matter what you seek out in life or what battles you fight, do your homework on them, sometimes the knowledge of your enemy is just as powerful as any weapon,".

Luke's head was down towards the wolf, but then, he screamed a battle cry into the temple as the lightning surrounding his body sparked and fluctuated before he grabbed the paw of the wolf clashing with his blade and pulled himself away from the clash, forcing the paw to clash into the ground as Luke, now sheathing his blade as he rapidly climbed up the side of the wolf like a shot. He presumed the same rules applied to him as it was for Okami; no killing, no ninjutsu or genjutsu, use only the blade and your strength to defeat the other wolves. He knew his goal as he reached the top of the first wolf, he ran down towards its head and leapt up, putting his fists together before he slammed his fists into the top of its head, causing lightning to shoot upwards from his fists. He then kept punching it, causing it to fall a few meters with each punch. But before he could continue punching, the paw of another wolf came at him to wipe him off his fellow clansman or clanswolf in this case.

Luke, using the speed of the attack, he grabbed onto the paw so he was carried upwards, high above them before he came, delivering a punch straight into the wolf's head, using the wolf's own speed against him as he fell. He went to the ground and turned to the other four wolves, as tall as building. Luke then drew his blade again and ran forwards, fighting with all the honor and wild tenacity they were seeking. If Luke was honest with himself, he was tired of hearing how dishonourable he was, he was sick of everyone looking down on him and he was sick of people distrusting him; he'd sacrificed a lot for the hidden dark and hidden forest, the wolves would be able to know that from his time spent doing missions in the name of the name of the hidden forest and his work to restore the hidden dark to a place that was worth living, all of it ruined for a simple miscommunication. His blood boiled, something that hadn't happened in a long time as he ran forwards, clashing his blade against the claws of the nearest wolf before breaking off to run up the side of the wall and the wolf's leg, ending up on top of it as he ran towards, leaving a streak of lightning as he ran and delivered a slam to the wolf's skull with the handle of his blade, similar to how Okami did it and as the wolf fell to the floor, he leapt off it onto the next one, doing the same and again, again as he roared, throwing his feeling and his body into this fight and by the time Okami had come round, Luke would be standing in front of the great wolf with the bodies of the six other giant wolves, laying unconscious on the ground or semi conscious.

Luke turned to Okami, lightning sparking off him as Okami walked towards him, now in his imperfect sage mode, with all the deformities such a thing created. Okami spoke that he was tired of Luke thinking so lowly of him and asking for proof he could be a jonin and act like one. Luke simply stared at him, his eyes alive with lightning.

"You seem to have this all wrong; those who are really better then I and conduct themselves in a manner of a true shinobi, I respect, to those who are lower then me, I do not control, your a fool if you believe that; they are those who benefit from my protection, those who I can teach to make themselves better, to let them grow up stronger and become better shinobi because, I am a teacher as well as a shinobi, Okami, don't forget that," Luke said before Okami charged him, drawing his sword, seemingly slower then Luke expected from one who had gained a sage mode. The two clashed as their energies collided; the lightning of the one named the lightning demon against the new Uchiha wolf sage. It seemed that Okami in his new mode was equal to him in strength, which wasn't particularly good news and he had the feeling Okami was holding back in terms of speed. Although even throughout this, he laughed as this was the first time that Okami was really fighting him, not hiding behind armour or running away, but fighting him like a warrior. He saw Okami spinning his blade and thrust it towards his foot, so he used the clash to push himself upwards, out the way of the thrust before pushing off his arm to avoid the punch. He would then spin around, aiming to kick Okami in the back of the head to send him forwards before he made a few hand seals since at this point, he presumed that all bets were off.

"Fire Style: Fireball jutsu!" Luke called out before breathing in and then emitting a large fireball from his mouth, sending it rocketing towards Okami, aiming to hit him with the fireball before stopping, taking out his blade as he readied himself to counter Okami's next move as he knew that, even if he took the fireball straight to the face, it would take a little more to take him out now he had sage mode, even though it was impure. He breathed heavily, sweat coming down his forehead and hissing into steam as the lightning burnt it off his body.

"He's going to be difficult to deal with in this state, but if I recall, since this isn't a perfected stage of sage mode, his jutsus aren't yet enhanced by the sage chakra and will little to no sage chakra in this form, its just a matter of keeping my distance and keeping him stunned till he loses sage mode since it doesn't last forever. The burning question is will I last that long? Fighting all those wolves in this state and now having to fight Okami like this is tiring me out, but whatever happens, I beat it into Okami that there's more to me then lies and what I appear on the outside, if my words don't reach him, let's see if my blades and my fists do," Luke thought as he caught his breath, his eyes rapidly scanning the area, looking for any sign of Okami as he readied himself to fight with the imperfect wolf sage, Okami.

Gritting his fangs, Okami watched as Luke jumped upward, firing off a Great Fireball jutsu at him. Breathing outward, Okami would appear to flicker before appearing behind Luke, striking downwards with all his strength. Luke had seemingly underestimated him. He was not only as strong as him, but stronger. As Luke would plummet towards the ground, Okami would form the Tiger seal, forcing in a breath before exhaling smoke, using Fire Style: Ash Pile Burning. This smoke would cut down visibility by 60%, and was pure gunpowder. Forming the Horse hand seal, Okami would switch to blowing out an inferno that would cover most of the inside of the massive room. The Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation would blend with the gunpowder, forcing the two A-Rank techniques together to become one massive explosion. Luke seemed to forget sometimes that Okami was superior in combat, and always had been.

As he fought, the earlier words of the Great Wolf echoed through his mind. It is an admirable trait, one that I would give my right paw for."

He was right, of course. Okami strove to become the best he could be in order to protect, just as Luke claimed to do. So, why were they so different? More words came to his mind as he thought about it, the explosion raging around him.

Ferocity and honor. He remembered that as he strode through the scorched air towards Luke, who wouldn't have had time to escape considering the speed of the jutsu used. Keeping his blade in his right hand, he would form a Rasengan with his left, walking up to the other ninja with an undetectable air of disgust.

"You DARE to presume that I do not comport myself like a Shinobi should? You know nothing. I-" Okami would say before the Rasengan went out, dropping his sword as he grabbed his head. Why now? Why again? He began to have the same flashbacks as before, only more compressed.

Ever."

Screaming, Okami would drop to the floor as his past rolled across his vision again. It was more painful this time. Looking at the Great Wolf, he watched as Fell raised a furry eyebrow. So this was to be the deciding factor? Sighing, Okami allowed the next vision to roll across his mind, this time about Luke's background.

Looking at the older ninja with new eyes, Okami sheathed his blade and reached out a hand to help him up.

"Luke, I'm sorry. I'm sorry you had to go through that when you were younger. We aren't so different, you and I. That doesn't mean, however, that you can take the tooth. It is sacred ground here, and to defile it by taking the fang of it's Elder would be an insult to the Pack, bringing dishonor upon our Village. Can you understand that? The Pack would be furious, and never trust another human again."

Element: Katon
Range: Short(0-5m), Medium(5-10m), Long(15m+)
Speciality: Ninjutsu
Duration: Up to two turns
Cooldown: Seven turns
Hand Seals: Horse
Description: The user forms the related hand seal and breathes out a massive torrent of fire, which forms into a large wall before the user and begins to march forward in-front of the user. These intense flames devour everything in their way, turning whatever and whoever they hit to ash. The user has to maintain the stream of fire to keep the wall going, which they can do for up to two turns. The first turn costs 20 chakra, and the second turn costs 15.

Name: Spiraling Sphere (Rasengan ~ 螺旋丸)
Canon/Custom: Canon
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Element: /
Range: The user's palm
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: -20 chakra per post
Cooldown: Duration + 2
Description: Spiraling Sphere creates a skull sized sphere of raw chakra in the user's hand. Performing this technique doesn't require any hand seals, it simply takes roughly six seconds of preparation, wherein the user concentrates a large amount of chakra into the centre of their hand, applying intense shape manipulation to contort it into a ball. This sphere can be maintained in the user's hand for up to two posts before dissipating. On impact, Spiraling Sphere can severe limbs [if it impacts with the appropriate joints] and cause severe physical trauma, shattering bones around the impact site as well as rending cleanly through up to six inches of flesh. While the Rasengan, unless impacting with the head or heart, cannot cause immediate death, it can cause severe internal trauma that can require immediate medical treatment.

Name: Katon: Haisekisho no Jutsu [Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning]
Canon/Custom: Canon
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Element: Katon
Range: Short(0-5m), Medium(5-10m)
Speciality: Ninjutsu
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 6 posts
Hand Seals: Tiger
Description: The user spews a stream of chakra infused gun-powder from their mouth up to 11 feet from them which surrounds the region. As the gunpowder is composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud, which can be used like a smokescreen, hindering sight up to 60%. The gunpowder cloud is moderately large as it is being 15-20 feet from the target at all points. After surrounding the enemy with the ash, the user can ignite it with a flint placed on their teeth beforehand to create a spark, resulting in a violent explosion, burning the enemy. The technique lasts 3 posts before the wind blows it away from the battle; of course unless the user ignites the gun powder. If the target is caught in the middle of the explosion there is a small chance of death, but most likely they will sustain major burns and several wounds all around their body. Any wind style jutsu involving manipulating the air can counter this technique easily. The gun-powder from this technique can also be set off via any Fire jutsu, or simply by the user clicking their teeth together. Costs 20 chakra.

And Okami loved to overestimate his opponents; and sometimes he forgot they were equals, admittedly in different ways, but equals non the less as Luke watch Okami getting kicked away. Although it appeared that Okami was quite eager to prove himself as he got out the way of the blast and ran straight at Luke, fist raised. Luke's eyes would become covered in shade as Okami came closer and closer.

"Your so reckless, you've never seen me fight seriously..." Luke spoke softly and just as Okami was about to punch him, he vanished from Okami's sight, his punch hitting onto a shadowy afterimage, which in this case, acted as a last minute substitution as Okami fired both fire style: ash burning pile and fire style: great fire annihilation. He didn't have to worry about it being copied due to Okami's own ash pile that reduced the visual range enough that by the time he could activate his sharingan, it would be too late to copy it. By the time Okami finished the jutsus and started forming the rasengan, he would feel Luke's blade pressing against his throat, lightning covering it from Luke's chakra flowing within it.

"Maybe you should take another look what it means to be a shinobi, Okami since the power you need is to be able to relate to others and understand their points of view since the true meaning of a sage is to be wise as well as powerful for as great a power sage mode provides, you must choose what you do with that power, don't let your curse consume you, Okami Uchiha," Luke spoke solemnly as Okami mouthed off about him knowing nothing before stopping, his rasengan fading into nothingness, dropping his sword. Luke pulled back his own blade as Okami started grabbing his head, going into another trance. Luke sheathed his blade and the lightning demon aura he had faded, his eyes returning to their normal red, but this battle was tiring and it was fortunately that he had stopped, hopefully ending their battle before Okami could destroy anything else. He ended up falling to his knees, screaming, looking at the great wolf, which only raised a eyebrow; this was a final test to Okami's worth as a sage and he knew better then to interfere with this. He looked at the great wolf, then at Okami.

Eventually, he stopped screaming and got up, picking up his blade and sheathing it, telling Luke he was sorry for what he went through, but he couldn't take the tooth of the elder as it would bring dishonor on the wolves and the village. Luke however, disagreed with that as he looked towards the great wolf.

"Well, in thinking about it, its impossible to take the entire tooth; judging by the big guy's teeth here, a small chunk of it will be more then enough for what I need. But you've seen what I wish for it, so did everyone here, besides, wouldn't using a blade of Getsuga the black wolf only show a bond between the hidden forest and the wolves and to use it in the name of those I swore to protect and in the name of the one who's name is part of my blade. Please, just have some faith in those who serve you, you know I'm telling the truth, please, let this become a bond between the hidden forest and the wolves and I swear to honor that promise, regardless of what is to come in my future," Luke explained as he revealed the scroll he had read earlier; showing the design of the blade of a long, curved blade like a fang with a black leather handle and a long chain that is fitted to a clawed gauntlet for additional protection and kept the weapon attached to it.

If the great wolf granted his request, he would kneel down and thank him and would wait for him to bring enough of the tooth to create the blade, sealing it into the scroll for easy carrying, if not, Luke would ask to be tried for his worthiness, but either if he was successful in getting the tooth fragment or not, he would walk past Okami, his eyes dark.

"I don't like that you were poking around in my memories, besides, that was rather personal, so if don't mind, keep what you saw to yourself, no body deserves my life, that's why I fight and that's why I teach; so these kids, these young shinobi, can have something better then the lives we had. Good luck with mastering senjutsu, Okami, I'm heading home," Luke said, getting out his summoning scroll and resummoning Kōmori, taking off home to rest and recover from the day's events.

Name: Kageoni Kōtei (Shadow Devil Step)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Element: N/A
Range: Short
Specialty: N/A
Duration: one post
Cooldown: three post cooldown
Description: Luke's variation of high speed movement; appearing to move like a shadow and when he uses this; he tends to leave a shadow of himself behind like a afterimage as he flickers, he takes fewer steps to travel a greater distance before reappearing like a ghost. He can use this to get up to Ten meters per use, however, this does tax him since he's using chakra to enhance his natural speed, giving him speed equal to a rank above him (a example being if his speed is normally C3, while using this, his speed changes to B0 instead). Requires 15 chakra per use.

(Yep... stepping in here before this turns into an argument.

That last post is void. Luke, you aren't fast enough to avoid what is happening to you, even with your devil step. Okami has A-3 speed, whereas you have C-3. Your Devil Step only raises you to B-0. Seeing as your Perception is only B-1, And Okami is 2 ranks faster than you, you can't even see Okami Move.

Okami hit you faster than you would be able to realize. Don't bother trying to respond, because this thread has been locked.)
