A Bunny's Day [Ranmaru, or Invite]

Jooooy. "Must be village ninja, then. Civilian cops can't move that well in this weather." Meh, foods. Or trophies. Or just heads for pikes. He rolled off the couch like he didn't care; letting his body hit the floor and continuing to roll until he reached his cloth bolts. The moment he was able to touch them, they began to move, wrapping around his body once he sat up and gave them the room. The longest bolt around his chest, the rest around his arms and waist; that was his usual set up for his hidden cloth. If he had more, he'd keep them around his legs, however he'd never been able to make the seal work on more than four bolts at once, and he remembered from his clan training that no one had ever been able to do it. Sad, but he wasn't the type to bother researching like that. He just did what he needed. He was good with his four.

"Shall we feast, cub?"

Kaia-Mai tilted her head as she watched Ranmaru: the way he moved and his general antics amused her highly no matter how many times she had seen it. He was a strange creature, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She giggled softly; still a very happy bunny despite the situation going on: she had no reason to fear these men who were on their way, village ninja or not. It wasn't that she was so egotistical to think that she couldn't be beaten, it was simply that she had long ago thrown away her ability to allow her own fear to control her. If she died then she died: it simply meant she wasn't strong enough to survive and therefore deserved what happened to her.

Kaia-Mai jumped up from the place she had been seated; uncurling from the ball she had been in with the grace and speed of a striking predator. "Yes!~", she responded to Ranmaru, ready to follow him outside.

She could hear that the group had now reached the bodies: they had spotted the bloody trail that she and Ranmaru had made, but hadn't begun to follow it yet. They was debating going on between the group: at least one of them had a hunch of what waited for them if they followed that trail and had no interest in being a part of that. The others were attempting to urge him on despite his fear. "One of them figures it to be a bad idea to follow the trail to us. His friends are trying to convince him otherwise. It sounds like they're still by the bodies; they haven't started to move towards us yet."
